Agreement

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Field Library mobile application, website, and related services. By using Field Library, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Reference tool only

Field Library organizes and retrieves federal, state, and supported local construction-related reference material. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by OSHA, any state or local building department, fire authority, standards publisher, or other government agency. It does not provide engineering, legal, safety, code-compliance, or other professional advice or approval.

You are responsible for reviewing the complete official source, applicable code edition, amendments, exceptions, project documents, site conditions, and direction from the authority having jurisdiction before making a field or compliance decision.

Accuracy and availability

We work to preserve citations and connect results to official sources, but we do not warrant that indexed text, search results, alerts, generated audio, links, or source-status information will always be complete, current, uninterrupted, or error-free. Official sources control if any information conflicts.

Permitted use

You may use Field Library for lawful personal or internal business reference. You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, automate abusive request volume, remove ownership notices, or use the service to violate law or another party's rights.

Public and third-party material

Government codes, rules, bulletins, and other public-source material remain attributable to their issuing authorities. Third-party websites and services are governed by their own terms. Field Library's interface, organization, branding, and original software remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law.

Service changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance, source availability, or product development. We may restrict access when the service is abused or these terms are violated.

Field Library Pro subscriptions

Field Library offers optional auto-renewable monthly and yearly subscriptions through Apple. Eligible new subscribers may receive a 14-day free trial. When the trial ends, Apple charges the price shown in the purchase confirmation for the selected plan unless the subscription is canceled at least 24 hours before renewal. Prices may vary by storefront, currency, tax, and Apple pricing changes.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings and restore an eligible purchase from within the app. Introductory-offer eligibility is determined by Apple and is generally limited to one introductory offer per subscription group.

Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Except where required by law, billing and refunds are administered by Apple under its applicable terms and policies.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Field Library is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. Field Library and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, project delays, citations, penalties, stop-work orders, injuries, or losses resulting from use of or reliance on the service.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Apple App Store

If you obtained the app through Apple's App Store, Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. Your use of the app must comply with the App Store's applicable usage rules. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms as they relate to the App Store version.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms by posting a revised effective date on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. For questions, open a support request.
